EDINBURGH

Edinburgh is the capital city of Scotland. Edinburgh is the administrative, legal and financial centre of Scotland and hosts three universities. The city stretches from the port of Leith to Queensferry and the Forth Bridges. It is essentially non-industrial, though there is a brewing and distilling tradition, and the 20th century saw a lot of urban expansion. Edinburgh was founded on the defensive Castle Rock (and is built upon a volcanic landscape, the volcano Arthurs Seat in the centre of Edinburgh being about 300 million years old) and was well-established by the 13th century, finally becoming Scotland's capital in 1532.

Edinburgh is a town partly in Johnson County and partly in Bartholomew County, Indiana, USA.
