GLAMORGAN

Glamorgan was an historic county of Wales, now part of the unitary authority of the Vale of Glamorgan. Glamorgan was named after Morgan, a 7th century Welsh prince who ruled the area, hence in welsh glan Morgan meaning Morgan's shore in English.
