GWYNEDD

Gwynedd is a county in north west Wales. It was formed in 1974 from Anglesey, Caernarvonshire, part of Denbighshire, and most of Merionethshire. The mainland is generally mountainous with many lakes, much of it lying in the Snowdonia National Park.
