HINDU KUSH

The Hindu Kush or Indian Caccaus, is a mountain range in central Asia. It is generally considered as a continuation of the Himalayas, which it adjoins at the Indus, and then stretches west until it unites with the Ghur Mountains in North Afghanistan. Its culminating point is in the range of Hindu-Koh, to the north of Kabul. In many features the Hindu Kush resembles the Himalayas proper, though it is lower and destitute of forests.
