MACAU

Macau is a country in east Asia with a total area of 16 km2. The climate is subtropical and marine with cool winters, warm summers. The terrain is generally flat and there are no natural resources. The religion is mainly Buddhist; 17,000 Roman Catholics, of whom about half are Chinese. The official language is Portuguese with Cantonese the language of commerce.
