NASEBY

Naseby (recorded in the Domesday Book as Navesberie) is a village in Northamptonshire, England. It was the scene of a decisive battle in the English civil war when the Royalists were defeated by the forces of Oliver Cromwell and General Thomas Fairfax. The village is also the source of the River Avon.
