Oklahoma is a state in south west USA. Oklahoma was organised as a territory of the United States on May the 3rd, 1890. It was formed from Indian Territory and the Public Land. The Territory was first opened to settlers on April the 22nd, 1889, and in 1890 the population was 61,834, more than doubling within five years.
