SOUTH DAKOTA

South Dakota is a state in the USA. South Dakota was originally a part of the Louisiana cession. Before the settlement of the boundary between the United States and Canada the territory was under British rule. Dakota was organised as a territory in 1861, and on November the 2nd 1889, the two Dakotas were admitted as States. The manufacture or sale of intoxicating liquors was prohibited by an act of 1890.
