THREE RIVERS

Three Rivers is a city and port on the junction of the St Lawrence river and the St Maurice river in Quebec, Canada. The city was a French settlement in 1634, and was headquarters of one of the three districts into which French Canada was divided before 1763. A fire in 1908 destroyed most of the business part of the city, which was subsequently rebuilt.
