The Vale of White Horse is an area in Oxfordshire that takes its name from the ancient carving of the White Horse on the Northern scarp of the Wessex Downs. The District is attractive and mainly rural in character, and is a popular tourist destination particularly for visitors to the Thames, the Downs and Oxford.
