WALLIS AND FUTUNA

Wallis and Futuna is an island in the south Pacific Ocean. It has a total area of 274 km2. The climate is tropical; hot, rainy season (November to April); cool, dry season (May to October). The terrain is volcanic origin; low hills. Natural resources are negligible. The religion is largely Roman Catholic. The language is French, Wallisian (indigenous Polynesian language).
