The D-10TG is a 100 mm calibre Russian tank rifle. It was designed straight after the Second World War and was the premier high-velocity cannon of the Soviet army during the 1950s. It was mounted on T-54 and T-55 Main Battle Tank (MBT)s and had a muzzle velocity of 1415 metres-per-second and armour piercing capabilities of 150 mm at 500 metres and 125 mm at 1000 metres firing HVAPDS ammunition.

The DAF YP-408 was a Dutch 8x4 wheeled armoured personnel carrier. The DAF YP-408 was powered by a DAF Model DS 575 6-cylinder diesel engine providing a top road speed of 80 kmh. The DAF YP-408 could ford to a depth of 120 cm and cross a trench 120 cm wide. The DAF YP-408 carried a crew of two plus ten passengers and was armed with one .50 machine-gun and two 3 smoke dischargers.

The Daimler Armoured Car was a British armoured car of the Second World War. It had a top speed of 50 mph and a range of 200 miles. It was armed with a 2-pounder main gun and a Besa 7.92 mm machine-gun, and was manned by a crew of three.

The Daimler Dingo Light Armoured Scout Car was a British armoured car of the Second World War, first produced in 1939 and remaining in service until the 1950's. The Daimler Dingo Light Armoured Scout Car was somewhat similar in appearance to the Daimler Armoured Car, but manned by a crew of two who sat in an octagonal crew compartment, and was armed with a single 0.30 inch Bren machine-gun. The Daimler Dingo Light Armoured Scout Car had a forward-reverse transfer gearbox that gave it a top speed of 55 mph in either direction - a facility that proved a life saver when Daimler Dingo Light Armoured Scout Cars would turn a corner in the road only to come face-to-face with an enemy tank, but could reverse back out of sight fast enough to avoid being hit by enemy fire. The Daimler Dingo Light Armoured Scout Car had a range of 325 km.

The DANA is a Czech wheeled self-propelled gun first produced in the 1980s. The DANA is manned by a crew of four or five protected by 12.7 mm thick armour, and is armed with a 152 mm howitzer and a 12.7 mm machine-gun. A V-12 diesel engine provides a top speed of 80 kmh and a range of 600 km.

The DD Sherman was an American amphibious variant of the M4A2 Sherman tank, fitted with a collapsible fabric screen and rubber air tubes fitted to a boat-shaped platform welded to the hull. Two propellers allowed movement through water. The DD Sherman was armed with a 75 mm gun and two 0.3 inch machine-guns. DD Shermans were slow, but proved useful during the D-Day landings providing fire support to the amphibious landings.

The Demag D7 (SdKfz 10/4) was a German self-propelled anti-aircraft gun of the Second World War. The Demag D7 consisted of a 20 mm FlaK30 or FlaK38 cannon mounted on a half-track chassis. The Demag D7 was manned by a crew of seven and had a top speed of 65 kmh and a range of 300 km.

The Dodge T214 was an American military three-quarter ton truck introduced in 1942 as a successor to the Dodge T215. It was slightly wider and lower with larger wheels and a stronger suspension. The T214 was produced in a number of variants for different roles including weapons carrier, ambulance, command vehicle, reconnaissance vehicle and radio vehicle. The T214 had a top speed of 110 kmh and a range of 450 km.

The Dodge T215 was the US Army half-ton truck used during the Second World War. The T215 was un-armed and un-armoured but produced in various variants for use as an ambulance, command vehicle, reconnaissance vehicle, radio carrier and weapons carrier by the Americans, British and Russians. The T215 had a top speed of 70 kmh and a range of 500 km.

The DUKW was an American amphibious truck used during the Second World War. It was basically a standard 6 x 6 GMC 2.5 ton cargo truck fitted with buoyancy tanks and with screw propulsion when in the water. DUKW were mainly used to ferry supplies and men from ship to shore, and played a vital part in almost every amphibious landing performed by Allied troops.
