The Hotchkiss H-39 was a French light-support tank used during the Second World War. It was armed with a 37 mm main gun, one 7.5 mm coaxial machine-gun, and manned by a crew of two. A Hotchkiss six-cylinder petrol engine provided a top speed of 36 kmh and a range of 120 km. The German army captured a number of Hotchkiss H-39 tanks and used them in their own army under the designation Panzer 39-H 735(f).

HETZER

The Hetzer was a German tank destroyer of the Second World War developed in 1943. The Hetzer comprised a 75 mm Pak 39 gun with limited traverse mounted on a LT-38 (Panzer 38) chassis, supplemented by a 7.92 mm MG34 machine-gun. A Praga AC/2800 petrol engine provided a top speed of 40 kmh and a range of 250 km.

HORNET MALKARA

The Hornet Malkara was a British tank destroyer developed during the 1950s to provide a long-range anti-tank capability. The vehicle was essentially a modified Humber one-tonne 4x4 truck chassis fitted with a Malkara missile launcher on the back. The Hornet was designed for airborne use, being parachuted into location and was manned by a crew of three. The Hornet carried two Malkara wire-guided missiles and was powered by a Rolls-Royce B60 Mk 5A six-cylinder petrol engine giving a top speed of 64 kmh and a range of 402 km. The Hornet was replaced by the Ferret Mk 5 during the 1970s.

HOTSPUR HUSSAR

The Hotspur Hussar is a British military APC designed in 1984 and based upon Land Rover components using a third driven axle to provide a 6x6 configuration. The Hussar is capable of carrying a crew of two plus ten fully-equipped soldiers over rugged terrain. Six gun ports are provided, three on each side of the vehicle through which the occupants can fire at an enemy.

HUMBER MK I

The Humber Mk I was a British armoured car of the Second World War. The vehicle was based on a pre-war wheeled light tank designed by Guy. The
Humber Mk I carried a crew of three protected by armour up to 30 mm thick and was armed with a machine-gun. Later models were armed with a 15 mm gun and a 7. 92 mm Besa machine-gun. The Humber Mk I had a top speed of 72 kmh and a range of 402 km.

HUMBER PIG

The Humber Pig was a British four-wheeled armoured personnel carrier designed in the 1950s to transport soldiers to and from the battlefield. It carried a crew of two plus six or eight passengers protected by 8 mm thick armour and was armed with two 4-barrel smoke dischargers and firing ports for the passengers. The Humber Pig had a top speed of 64 kmh and a range of 402 km.

The 15 cm Schwere Panzerhaubitze auf Geschutzwagen III/IV (SF) 'Hummel' (SdKfz 165) was a German self-propelled gun of the Second World War, first used at the Battle of Kursk in 1943, based on a hybrid of the Panzer 3 and Panzer 4 chassis and armed with either a 15 cm sIG 33 howitzer or an 88 mm anti-tank gun. The Hummel was manned by a crew of five and powered by a Maybach V-12 petrol engine giving a top speed of 42 kmh and a range of 215 km.

HYUNDAI TYPE 88 MBT

The Hyundai Type 88 MBT is a South Korean main battle tank. The Type 88 is manned by a crew of four and is armed with a 105 mm main gun, one 7.62 mm coaxial machine-gun, one 7.62 mm anti-aircraft machine-gun and one 12.7 mm anti-aircraft machine-gun, and two 6 chamber smoke grenade dischargers. An MTU 871 Ka-501 diesel engine rated at 1,200 hp provides a maximum road speed of 40 mph and a maximum road range of 500 km.
