The Iver Johnson Safety Automatic was an American hammerless revolver produced between 1894 and 1917. The Iver Johnson Safety Automatic incorporated a transfer bar safety system which prevented the hammer from striking the firing pin unless the trigger was first pulled, which moved the transfer bar away. The Iver Johnson Safety Automatic was chambered for the .32 Smith and Wesson cartridge, had a 6-chamber cylinder and a 3-inch barrel.
