Dakota are an American firearms firm established in 1984 producing bolt-action medium and big-game hunting rifles in any requested calibre. Various models are produced, single-shot and with built-in cartridge holders taking between three and five rounds.

DE LISLE

The De Lisle was a British bolt action silenced carbine of the Second World War made by Sterling from 1942 to 1945. It was chambered for the American .45 ACP cartridge and took an eight round magazine. Two versions were made, one with a fixed but and one with a folding metal butt.

DENEL STRIKER

The Denel Striker is a South African 12-gauge shotgun developed for military, police and anti-terrorist units. The Striker uses a revolver type mechanism and has a twelve round cylinder. The Striker is fitted with a folding stock and a front grip allowing the weapon to be fired from the hip. Various variants are produced in South Africa and under license in other countries with short and long barrels.

DR 200

The Daewoo DR 200 is a Korean semi-automatic, gas-pressure operated military rifle first produced in 1985. The DR 200 combines features of the Armalite AR-15 and the AK47 rifles. It is produced in .223 Remington (5.56 mm NATO) calibre and takes a 5, 10, or 20-round Armalite AR-15 magazine. The DR 200 has a 18.25 inch long barrel and is fitted with a military optical sight and bead tunnel and a mounting for a telescopic sight.

DRAGON

A dragon was a short musket carried by Dragoons, so named on account of spitting fire in a manner resembling that of the fabulous beast. The muskets were frequently decorated with the head of a dragon inscribed on the muzzle.

DRAGUNOV SVD

The Dragunov SVD is a Russian semi-automatic gas-operated sniping rifle chambered for the 7.62 mm x 54R cartridge fed from a 10-round box magazine. It has a muzzle velocity of 830 meters per second and a 547 mm long barrel. The Dragunov SVD is fitted with a PSO-1 Metascope telescopic sight and has an effective range of 1300 meters.
