MEL SMITH

Mel Smith is an English actor, writer and film director. He was born in 1952 at Chiswick, London. He first cam to prominence as a television comedian starring in the 1979 television series 'Not the Nine O'Clock News' and later in the equally successful 1984 comedy television series 'Alas Smith and Jones' co-starring with Griff Rhys-Jones.
