The Chelonia (Testudinata) are an order of about 75 genera of Anapsida (reptiles) which includes the tortoise and turtle. The trunk is short and broad and protected by a carapace and a plastron. The head, neck, tail and limbs can be withdrawn under the shields for protection. The jaws are strong, but lack teeth. Research Chelonia
