The British Airports Authority plc (BAA) is a public limited company that was floated on the London Stock Exchange in 1987 and formed from the former British Airports Authority (founded in 1966). It owns and operates London airports (Heathrow, Gatwick, and Stansted) as well as Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Prestwick, and Glasgow airports.
