Becquerel Rays was a name originally given to the radiations emitted by radioactive substances, and now distinguished as Alpha Rays, Beta Rays, and Gamma Rays. Becquerel Rays were so named from their discoverer, the eminent French physicist, Henri Becquerel. They were first detected in 1896, as proceeding from uraniumsalts. Research Becquerel Rays
