COLBERT II

The Colbert is a French cruiser of 8500 tons displacement, launched in 1956. She is powered by two sets of CEM-Parsons geared turbines providing a top speed of 31.5 knots and a range of 6400 km at 25 knots. She carries a crew of 560 including 24 officers. Armaments consist of four Aerospatiale Exocet MM38 anti-ship missiles; an ECAN Ruelle Masurca twin launcher anti-air-missile system; two DCN 100 mm/55 Mod 68 CADAM automatic guns; twelve DCN 57 mm/60 in six twin arrangements guns; several M2HB 12.7 mm machine-guns.
