The choroid plexus is a vascular layer of the inner eye that lies between the retina and sclera. It is composed of a thin network of branching blood vessels that bring a constant supply of oxygen and nutrients to the retina. The choroid, along with the iris and ciliary body, constitute the uveal tract which is the pigmentary, or middle, portion of the eye. Research Choroid Plexus
