The Circe was an Italian Partenope Class torpedo boat of 679 tons displacement launched in 1938. She was powered by two 3-drum type boilers providing a top speed of 34 knots and carried a complement of 94. Armaments consisted of three 3.9 inch guns; six 37 mm anti-aircraft guns; two 13 mm anti-aircraft guns; two depth charge throwers and four 18-inch torpedo tubes. Research Circe II
