Research Results For 'Ciscar'

CISCAR

The Ciscar was a Spanish Churruca Class destroyer of 1536 tons displacement launched in 1933 and sunk in October 1937 during the Spanish Civil War, subsequently salvaged and refitted in 1938. The Ciscar was powered by four 3-drum type oil-fired boilers providing a top speed of 36 knots and a range of 7200 km at 14 knots. She carried a complement of 175 and was armed with five 4.7 inch guns; one 3 inch anti-aircraft gun; four machine-guns; two depth charge throwers and six 21 inch torpedo tubes arranged in two triples.
