Dew-point is the temperature at which condensation of the vapour in the air takes place. When the temperature of the air has been reduced by radiation to the dew-point, dew is deposited and an amount of heat set free which raises the temperature of the air. Thus the dew-point will indicate what the minimum temperature of the night is likely to be, a knowledge of which is useful to the horticulturist. Research Dew Point
