A fac (from a shortening of facsimile) is a large ornamental letter used, especially by the early printers, at the commencement of the chapters and other divisions of a book.

The FAC-70 is an American gas operated selective-fire assault rifle. The FAC-70 is chambered for the 5.56 mm cartridge which it takes from a 30-round box magazine from an AR-180 rifle and fires with a cyclic rate of 600 rounds per minute. It has a 457 mm long barrel and a muzzle velocity of 976 metres per second and an effective range of 350 metres.

The North American AT-6 (Texan) was an American two-seater advanced flying trainer aircraft used during the Second World War by both the US Army Air Forces and the US Navy. During the Korean War, AT-6s were used in a Forward Air Control (FAC) role directing artillery and air strikes. The last AT-6s went out of service in the 1970s. The AT-6 was a low-wing cantilever monoplane powered by a Pratt and Whitney R-1340-AN-1 Wasp radial piston engine providing a top speed of 330 kmh and a range of 1207 km.
