G7E T4

The G7e T4 (Falke) was a German 21 inch passive homing torpedo used by submarines of the Second World War, entering service in 1943. Its homing was by a simple noise measurement and the torpedo was intended for use against merchant ships. It had a range of 7500 metres and travelled at a speed of 20 knots. It was armed with a 200 kg Hexanite explosive warhead.

The Falke was a German torpedo boat of 800 tons displacement launched in 1926. The Falke had a top speed of 33 knots and carried a complement of 121. Armaments consisted of three 4.1 inch guns; two 1 pdr anti-aircraft guns and six 21 inch torpedo tubes arranged in two parallel triples.

The Falke is a German Albatros class fast attack missile craft of 398 tons displacement commissioned in 1976. She is powered by four MTU 16V956 TB91 diesels providing a top speed of 40 knots and a range of 1300 miles at 30 knots. She carries a crew of 40 including four officers. Armaments consist of two twin Aerospatiale Exocet MM38 anti-ship missile launchers; two OTO Melara 76 mm/62 compact dual-purpose guns; two 533 mm aft torpedo tubes taking the AEG Seeal wire-guided; active homing torpedo.
