In Celtic mythology, Balor was the demon king, god of death. He ruled the Fomori, demons who lived in the impenetrable darkness of the sea's depths and in lakes and dark pools in the upper world. He was killed by his son, Lug, who shot him with a sling-shot. Research Balor
