Hadrosaurus was a dinosaur of the Cretaceous period. Remains of Hadrosaurus comprising a headless skeleton were discovered in New Jersey in 1858, and were the first dinosaur to be named from North America, and was also the most complete skeleton found to date. The skeleton of Hadrosaurus showed that it was about ten metres long and walked on its hind legs, until then it had been thought all dinosaurs walked on all fours. A later skulldiscovery showed Hadrosaurus to have had a duck-billed shaped head. Research Hadrosaurus
