The Heckler and Koch HK4 is a German blowback, self-loading, double-action pistol produced from 1956 to 1990 based upon the Mauser HSc pistol. It was supplied with four interchangeable barrels allowing the pistol to fire 9mm Browning short, 7.65 mm ACP, 6.35 mm and .22 rim fire calibre cartridges. The HK4 took a 8-round 9 mm calibre magazine, 9-round 7.65 mm calibre magazine or 10-round 6.35 mm and .22 calibre magazine.
