The FMA IA-35 Huanquero is an Argentine military advanced crew trainer, bomber, ambulance and photographic twin-engined general purpose monoplane aircraft in service since 1957. The FMA IA-35 is a low-wing cantilever monoplane powered by two IA 19R E1 Indio nine-cylinder radial air-cooled piston engines providing a top speed of 360 kmh and a range of 1570 km. The IA-35 was an Argentine twin-engined general purpose monoplane of the 1950's designed to fulfil a number of different duties. The IA-35 was designed to be fitted as a light transport aircraft carrying a crew of three and eight passengers; an air ambulance carrying a crew of three and four stretcher cases plus two medical attendees; an advanced trainer carrying a crew of three, an instructor and four pupils; a light reconnaissance aircraft carrying a crew of four; a light bomber carrying a crew of five armed with a machine-gun and carrying a payload of medium-calibre bombs.
