IVESTON

HMS Iveston is a British Ton Class mine hunter of 360 tons displacement. HMS Iveston has a double mahogany hull on an aluminium frame and is powered by two Paxman Deltic 18A-7A diesel engines providing a top speed of 15 knots and a range of 2500 miles at 12 knots. She carries a crew of 38 including five officers and is armed with a Bofors 40 mm/60 Mk 3 dual-purpose gun; three FN 7.62 mm machine-guns and two Oerlikon 20 mm guns.
