J. Edward Bromberg was an American actor. He was born in 1903 and died in 1951. His early death is attributed by many to his being blacklisted during the 1947 - 1961 anti-left paranoia that swept the USA, preventing Hollywood from hiring left-wing sympathisers. He appeared in a number of films from 1937 to 1946 including the 1940 'The Mark of Zorro' and the 1948 comedy 'A Song is Born'. Research J. Edward Bromberg
