2A42

The 2A42 is a Russian 30 mm calibre auto-cannon mounted on BMP-2 and ZSU-30-2 and the Ka-50 helicopter. It is based upon the British Rarden gun and has dual loading for AP and HE ammunition allowing the gunner to switch rounds without unloading and reloading. The 2A42 has a muzzle velocity of 1000 meters-per-second and can pierce 50 mm of armour at 500 metres. The gun has a full range of 4 km.

The Arjun Mk 1 is India's first indigenous main battle tank design. Production was delayed by problems, including the lack of a suitable engine, and the Arjun was held up before finally entering service in 1994. The Arjun is manned by a crew of four and is armed with a 120 mm stabilised gun and one 7.62 mm machine-gun. Powered by a MTU MB 838 Ka 501 water-cooled diesel engine the Arjun has a top speed of 72 kmh and a range of 400 km.

The Type 88 is manned by a crew of four and is armed with a 105 mm main gun, one 7.62 mm coaxial machine-gun, one 7.62 mm anti-aircraft machine-gun and one 12.7 mm anti-aircraft machine-gun, and two 6 chamber smoke grenade dischargers. An MTU 871 Ka-501 diesel engine rated at 1,200 hp provides a maximum road speed of 40 mph and a maximum road range of 500 km.

Ka-Mi was manned by a crew of five protected by armour up to 12 mm thick and armed with a 37 mm gun and two 7.7 mm machine-guns. The Ka-Mi had a top land speed of 37 kmh and a land range of 200 km.
