IRVIN-GQ LLRP

The Irvin-GQ LLRP is a British, low profile, chest-mounted, reserve parachute assembly designed as a back-up parachute system for use with troop parachutes at altitudes as low as 250 feet. The Irvin-GQ LLRP features an aeroconical canopy and has a minimum deployment altitude of 250 feet (76 meters) and can cope with a suspended weight of 260 kg. The parachute provides a rate of descent of about 6.9 metres per second, depending upon the suspended weight, and the total assembly weighs 6.9 kg.
