The Lavochkin La-15 ('Fantail') was a Soviet single-seater fighter aircraft produced in 1948, and in service through the 1950's in a secondary role to the Mig-15. The Lavochkin La-15 was powered by an RD-500 (Rolls-Royce Derwent V) turbojet providing a top speed of 1026 kmh and a range of 1170 km. Armaments consisted of two 23 mm cannons. Research La-15
