The Macaw tree or Gru-Gru (Acrocomiasclerocarpa) is a palm tree native to South America and The West Indies. It bears pinnate leaves, four metres or more in length, and its fruit yields an oil largely imported into Britain as palm oil, used in soap manufacture. Research Macaw Tree
