HMAS Macquarie was an Australian frigate of 1420 tons displacement launched in 1945. HMAS Macquarie was powered by two Admiralty 3-drum type boilers providing a top speed of 20 knots and carried a complement of 140. She was armed with two 4 inch dual-purpose guns; machine-guns and four depth charge throwers.
