The Naka was a Japanese Zintu Class second class cruiser of 5195 tons displacement launched in 1925 - the launch having been delayed by an earthquake. The Naka was powered by twelve Kanpon boilers providing a top speed of 33 knots and carried a complement of 450 and one aircraft. She was armed with seven 5.5 inch guns; two 3 inch anti-aircraft guns; six machine-guns and eight 21 inch torpedo tubes. Research Naka
