The Nambu 4th Year was a Japanesesemi-automatic pistol produced for the civilian market and for private purchase by army officers. The Nambu 4th Year was produced in 8 mm calibre, took an 8-round magazine and had a 122 mm barrel and fixed sights. The Nambu 4th Year was adopted by the Japanese Navy in 1909 and the Thai Army in the early 1920's but never officially by the Japanese Army. Research Nambu 4th Year
The Nambu Baby was a Japanesesemi-automatic pistol developed as a scaled down version of the Nambu 4th Year. The Nambu Baby was produced in 7 mm calibre, took a 7-round magazine, had a 83 mm barrel and fixed sights. The Nambu Baby was never very popular and was phased out of production during the 1930's.
