The New Nambu Model 57A is a Japanese self-loading pistol. It is chambered for 9 mm Parabellum cartridge which it takes from an 8-round box magazine. The New Nambu Model 57A has a 118 mm long barrel, is fitted with a fixed blade foresight and a fixed square notch rearsight. It has an effective range of 50 metres and a muzzle velocity of 350 metres per second and a rate of fire of 24 rounds per minute.
