NODOSAURUS

Nodosaurus was a dinosaur of the Cretaceous period. Nodosaurus was first described in 1889 by Othniel C Marsh on the basis of a few fragments of skeleton discovered, and later in 1921 was described more fully by R S Lull after further specimens were found in Wyoming and Kansas, USA. Nodosaurus was a medium-sized dinosaur, about six metres long, walked on all-fours and had an armour of bony knobs covering its body.
