The Ohm-Stoppelbein Special was an American single-seater racing aircraft of the 1950's. The Ohm-Stoppelbein Special was a mid-wing cantilever monoplane of mixed construction that set an international speed record for a Class C-1-a aircraft in 1956 of an average speed of 302.432 kmh over a 100 km course. The Ohm-Stoppelbein Special was powered by a Continental C85 four-cylinder horizontally-opposed air-cooled engine providing a top speed of 346 kmh and a range of 885 km.
