The Walther Model P5 is a short-recoil double-actionsemi-automatic pistol developed during the 1970s as a redesign of the P38 for the German Police force, requiring a double-action pistol with enhanced safety features and quick operation. The P5 is chambered for the 9 mm Parabellum cartridge and takes an 8-round magazine. The P5 has a blade foresight and an adjustable square notch rearsight.
