The Walther P88 is a German short-recoil double-action Browning-type semi-automatic pistol chambered for the 9 mm Parabellum cartridge and taking a 15-round magazine, first introduced in 1988. The P88 is fitted with ambidextrous controls, all controls duplicated to the left and right of the weapon.
