Berger's Clouded Yellow (Colias australis) is a mid-European species of butterfly of the family Pieridae. It was discovered and described by Verity in 1911, previously being confused with the Pale Clouded Yellow. The Pale Clouded Yellow (Colias hyale) is a species of butterfly of the family Pieridae widespread throughout the warmer regions of Europe where it is to be found in steppes, meadows and fields.
