The SIAI-Marchetti S208 is an Italian basic flying trainer aircraft with glider towing and liaison capabilities first flown in 1967 and based upon the Siai-Marchetti S.205 aircraft. The SIAI-Marchetti S208 entered military service in 1968 and is powered by a Textron Lycoming O-540-E4A5 flat-six piston engine providing a top speed of 320 kmh and a range of 1200 km.
