The Sabhan is a Kuwaiti FPB 57 Type fast attack craft of 410 tons displacement. The Sabhan is manned by a crew of five officers and thirty-five men and powered by four MTU 16V 956 TB 91 diesel engines providing a top speed of 36 knots and a range of 1300 miles at 30 knots. Armaments consist of four Aerospatiale Exocet MM40 surface-to-surface missiles; one OTO Melara 76 mm/62 compact dual-purpose gun; two Breda 40 mm/70 anti-aircraft guns in a twin arrangement and mines for mine laying.
