The Sauer M38H (Sauer Model 1938(H)) was a German blowback, double-action, semi-automatic service pistol produced from 1938 until the end of the Second World War for police use, but was adopted by the German air and tank troops. The Sauer M38H was chambered for the .32 ACPcartridge which it took from an 8-round magazine and had a 83 mm barrel. Pocket pistol versions were also produced in 6.35 mm and 9 mm Short calibres also. The Sauer M38H had a blade foresight, notch rearsight and an effective range of 30 metres with a muzzle velocity of 328 metres per second and a arte of fire of 24 rounds per minute.
