Lee Grant (real name Lyova Haskell Rosenthal) is an American actress. She was born in 1927 at New York. She made her stage debut at the age of four at the Metropolitan Opera in New York City, playing the abducted princess in 'L'Orocolo'. Blacklisted by McCarthy she struggled on and won her first Academy Award for her role in the 1975 film 'Shampoo'.
