The Sukhoi SU-9 ('Fishpot') was a Soviet single-seater interceptor fighter aircraft that was first seen in 1956 at the Aviation Day display at Tushino and entered service in 1959. The Sukhoi SU-9 was powered by a Lyulka AL-7F TRD-31 turbojet providing a top speed of 1915 kmh and a range of 1450 km.
